"I was looking for somebody to help me through the busy Christmas season to work my email campaigns for me, as I found that this was one of the first things that got pushed to one side in my business.  Klaviyo is not a very well used system in the UK, so it was difficult to find people who could use it to its full advantage, and that focused on it as a business.  This meant the quotes that I was receiving were way out of my budget.

 

I requested some names through a Facebook business group I’m in, and Alexandra offered her services.

 

After meeting with Alexandra virtually (which she takes care of) where we introduced ourselves and outplayed the work that I was looking for, she came back to me with a quotation for the work which was within my budget.  I decided to go ahead, even though I was a little concerned about the cross-continent issue, as she is based in the US and I’m in the UK.

 

Ever professional, Alexandra was very aware of my timezone for when emails were sent out, our timezones overlapped for virtual catch ups throughout the season, and also of the linguistic differences.  Everything that was produced was ready before sending so that it could be checked over if I wanted to.  She very quickly picked up my written mannerisms and followed those through with subsequent emails.

 

More importantly though, Alexandra helped to keep me on track with other business duties, as we’d decided on the format of the emails, and they needed certain tasks completing ready for links.  Knowing there was somebody relying on me, meant that the blog posts, or collection updates, and social media photos were ready ahead of time, leaving me feeling on top of and in control of those niggly tasks that can become overwhelming.

 

Being an e-commerce retailer herself allowed her to give a unique insight to my planned campaigns, and whether they actually were the right offers at the right times.  This helped and allowed me to change plans to work to better outcomes, and to conserve my time if she felt I’d be over-stretching myself.

 

My business is highly seasonal, but Alexandra has been extremely flexible with our contract, and so am looking forward to and definitely planning on working with her again next Autumn (if she’s got space for me!)."
